Do I need any experience to join? ▼
No prior experience is needed. The course starts from the very basics — understanding what a structured bag is, how to measure, how to read and draft a pattern — before moving into more complex gusset systems and full bag tutorials.
Can I use my domestic sewing machine? ▼
Yes. A domestic black-head sewing machine is the minimum requirement — you do not need an industrial machine. Use needle sizes 21, 22, or 23 for best results when sewing leather and bag fabrics.
How long do I have access to the course? ▼
Your access to the class is for an extended period of time. Note: videos are not downloadable for offline viewing.
Is the course fully self-paced? ▼
Yes, completely. There are no deadlines, no scheduled sessions, and no time pressure. All lessons are pre-recorded and available for you to work through at whatever pace fits your schedule.
What bags will I be able to make after the course? ▼
By the end of the course, you'll be able to make structured handbags, clutch purses, clutch frame bags, tote bags, briefcase-style bags, laptop bags, shoulder bags, crossbody bags, and travel bags — across 9 different gusset construction systems.
Will I get a certificate? ▼
Yes. Upon successful completion with evidence of your learning (assignments and projects), you'll receive a certificate of completion that qualifies you to go into bag production or train others.
How do I enrol? ▼
Enrolment is through payment. Once payment is confirmed, you'll be directed to the class support group where you'll receive your access link to the tutorial platform. Nigerians can pay via
Selar. International students can pay via
Mainstack.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind? ▼
Refunds are processed within 10 working days. Please note that a ₦4,000 processing fee is deducted from all refunds. We encourage you to reach out to us first if you have any concerns before requesting a refund.
